Verna was born in Wadestown, West Virginia, to Howard White and Mildred Plough on October 16, 1942.     Pine Haven’s council faces tough choices as they begin enforcing the ordinance regarding inoperable vehicles on town streets.     The Board of Trustees took their first look at the legal documentation needed to form a fundraising foundation for Crook County Medical Services District (CCMSD) last week.     Work began within the C Bar Subdivision last Wednesday to confirm the accuracy of the 1978 schematics of the town-owned water lines.     The Wolves wrestling team traveled to Miles City, MT this past weekend to wrestle in the 63rd Annual Cowboy Invitational tournament, competing against 23 teams. As a team, the Wolves placed 11th, bringing home one champion, Dayne Humes, and many placers.     On Tuesday, the Lady Wolves traveled to Newell, SD to take on the Lady Longhorns from Faith. We have seen Faith quite a few times over the years and we knew going in they would be a quality opponent. The game got off to a quick start with both teams getting buckets.     On Thursday night, the Wolves took on the Faith Longhorns in the opening round of the Annual West River Tournament in Newell, SD. The Wolves came out ready to play and took a 13-9 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Longhorns used their length to really bother us and took a halftime 25-22 lead.
