With all new fuel tanks and pumps on the north and west side of the Coffee Cup Fuel Stop, the final excavation of four old tanks is now underway; the derelict containers are being removed from the south area of the super convenience store as the final work in this season. Moorcroft has been awarded funding for the closure of the municipal landfill on Wind Creek Road east of town. The SLIB grant is 85% and Mayor Ben Glenn is happy with the amount. Charles Joseph Langenderfer, age 89, of Moorcroft, Wyoming, passed into the next life on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Charlie, a consummate joker and friend to all, was born on March 19, 1934 to Laurence Joseph and Mabel Langenderfer (Hilton). He was the third of their six children.
