The Carlile Fire Zone 16 is celebrating their annual open house Saturday, September 16, starting at 6 p.m. at the Carlile Fire Hall and everyone is invited to dinner. On August 31, police were requested to do a welfare check on a resident due to family being unable to get ahold of them. Officer went to the residence and spoke with them, all was fine. Officer contacted their family member who called in the welfare check and advised them of this. Nothing further. On September 3, police responded to a verbal altercation at Deere Haven. This weekend Moorcroft played in the Gillette Volleyball Tournament. On Friday, Varsity played Spearfish, Cheyenne Central and Kelly Walsh. Although falling short, the girls played with their all and improved their skills from the last tournament.
