    The unofficial results are in for the 2024 Primary Election and there are few surprises for this year's incumbents. However, John D. Davis beat incumbent Kelly Dennis to the Republican nomination for county commissioner by 999 votes to 741. Chip Neiman ran unopposed to retain his State Representative title and received 1610 votes in Crook County.     The 21st Annual Devils Tower Car Show was held on Saturday, at the KOA Campground at the entrance to Devils Tower. The show is sponsored by the Texas Trail Cruisers Car Club of Moorcroft. There were 118 entries this year, coming from Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.     The Moorcroft Volunteer Fire Department responded to an accident on the west end of the I-90 construction site a few weeks ago and, after examining the time the crew took to address the situation, Fire Chief Jeff Holberg as well as the town council commended them for their swift and effective response to the call.     Larry Glenn and Allen Johnstone have passed their one year probationary period and have been accepted into the Pine Haven Volunteer Fire Department as trained firefighters. Both men have exceeded the minimum requirements to hold this position of trust.
