James Lee Hacker, 81, of Moorcroft, Wyoming passed away peacefully at Crook County Long Term Care in Sundance, Wyoming on August, 2, 2024. James was born on January 1, 1943. His parents, Robert and Mary Hacker raised Jim and his brother Jerry, in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Lavern Sell passed away August 3, 2024, at the age of 92. Lavern was born November 25, 1931, in Wagner, South Dakota to Clarence and Katherine Sell. He grew up on a ranch near Keya Paha, South Dakota. He was the third of nine brothers and sisters. Lavern married Wanda Crawford on June 8, 1955, near Clearfield, South Dakota. JACKSON — Gov. Mark Gordon plans to send another set of Wyoming law enforcement personnel to the southern border in response to an aid request from Texas.
