He died on April 6, 2020 from diabetes complications at his home in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Susie at his side. He was born October 10, 1938 in New Maine Township near Newfolden, MN to Arthur Skadsem and Lucille (Magner) Skadsem. He attended school in Newfolden.
