    The WYDOT Moorcroft location partnered with the Moorcroft 5th grade classes to name five of their snowplows. The names that were chosen were Blizzard Boss, Polar Patrol, Taylor Drift, Crys-tal Cruiser and Brutis. During the fifth graders' visit to WYDOT on January 15, they learned about WYDOT operations, how snowplows work, what "don't crowd the plow" means and how important WYDOT is to the public.     Moorcroft Fire Caption Justin Thomas and EMS personal Devin Lind attended Little Angel's Child-care to teach the children about fire safety. Topics discussed were the firefighters' gear, how they fight fires, how to protect themselves and family members and what to do if they catch on fire.     During the monthly Pine Haven Town Council meeting held on Tuesday, January 14, new council member Dustin Heying, was sworn in, replacing outgoing Councilwoman Emily Smith, who was presented with a plaque. The high school will host the Dylan Humes Memorial Tournament, and the Moorcroft Mat Masters (MMM) will host the Deb Allison Memorial Tournament.     Wyoming Game & Fish will be offering multiple hunter education classes in the coming weeks, including in Moorcroft. Course topics include hunting ethics and responsibility, firearm safety, relevant Wyoming wildlife statutes and regulations, wildlife identification, game care and outdoor safety.
