Carolyn Jean Hook, age 80, of Alva, Wyoming, passed away peacefully, to be with our Lord and surrounded by her family at the Crook County Nursing Home on October 15, 2024. Carolyn was born on July 23, 1944, in Spearfish, South Dakota to Hulett (Bill) and Evelyn (Emmy) (Howard) Wood. She was an only child, but considered her first cousins, Sharon and Charlotte her sisters, as they fought, like all siblings do with each other. Juvenile shot on Hamilton Way; Police located suspect CASPER (WNE) — A minor was shot in the early hours of Saturday morning on the 3200 block of Hamilton Way, just north of its intersection with Sun Drive, in Casper. It was a tough loss on Friday. As a coach I always want my guys to get a win, especially during the Homecoming game.
