A South Dakota man faces a barrage of felony and misdemeanor charges after a high-speed chase near Moorcroft on Thursday, which led to the alleged discovery of controlled substances and forgery devices in his vehicle. On February 17 at around 8 a.m., a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper responded to a vehicle pursuit near milepost 118 on I-90 eastbound. The Wolves wrestling team competed in the 2A East Regional tournament this past Friday, in Sundance. They had a very successful day with three individual champions, six runners up, many placers and placed first as a team. On Friday, the Wolves boys basketball team hosted the Sundance Bulldogs in a conference clash. In the first quarter, the Wolves came out slow offensively as we struggled to find good shots and the Bulldogs took a 9-4 lead. In the second, Moorcroft finally got it going a little and trailed, 20-15, going into half. I thought we defended their big kid pretty well and our defense kept us in the game. On Friday, the Lady Wolves took on the Bulldogs from Sundance. The game was back and forth for much of the first half with neither team able to gain a distinct advantage. The Wolves took a slim 25-18 lead into the half. The second half was much of the same with both teams getting baskets and stops on the defensive end.
