Moorcroft High School hosted the original play brought to town by the Missoula Children’s Theatre, “Beauty Lou and the Country Beast” last Saturday afternoon. The cast consisted of 27 local actors and an assistant director who had only five days to perfect their parts in the hour long play and they did a smashing job. A Douglas man has been charged with possession with intent to deliver after allegedly informing a police officer who had spotted him walking drunkenly through town that he was taking a bag of marijuana from one friend to another. Yellowstone visitation down in 2019 CODY (WNE) — While visitation to Yellowstone National Park still exceeded 4 million in 2019 that was the lowest number of attendees since 2014. The final total for last year was 4,020,287 compared to 2018’s 4,114,999. That was a 2.3 percent decline. In 2014, attendance was 3,513,486, then there was a huge jump in 2015 when the total surpassed four million for the first time. On Tuesday, the Lady Wolves traveled to Hot Springs for the first round of the West River Tournament to face the Hot Springs Lady Bison. The Wolves got off to a good start and were able to take a 33-19 lead into the half. The West River Tournament had the Wolves paired off with the Hot Springs Bison. This game brought some energy to the Wolves as they were able to contain the Bison to a low score for the entire game with some good team defense. The Wolves would come out on top with a score of 51 to 27. The second round definitely gave the Wolves some challenges with a good athletic team in the Wall Eagles. Two kindergarten registration meetings for parents only have been scheduled. The first one will be Monday, February 3, starting at 5 p.m. and the second one will be Tuesday, February 4 starting at 6 p.m. in the Moorcroft K-8 cafeteria.
