    Two years ago, Moorcroft Clerk/Treasurer Cheryl Schneider applied for and received a $25,000 Wylite Energy grant through the Wyoming Energy Authority to replace the old halogen lighting in the gymnasium at the Moorcroft Town Center (MTC) with new energy efficient fixtures.     Glen L. Wyatt was born March 4, 1932, at Pine Ridge, South Dakota, the son of Milton “Jack” Wyatt and Laura Shattuck Wyatt; he passed away at home on January 13, 2021.     No charges will be filed in Riverton shooting death RIVERTON (WNE) — No charges will be filed in the November homicide that resulted in the death of Lisa Pitt, 39, of Riverton, Fremont County Attorney Patrick LeBrun said Friday. Pitt died of a “single perforating gunshot wound” to the trunk, according to the Fremont County Coroner’s Office. The first one will be Tuesday, February 2 starting at 5 p.m. and the second one will be Tuesday, February 9 starting at 6 p.m. in the Moorcroft K-8 cafeteria.     On Thursday, the Moorcroft Wolves boys’ basketball team traveled to Wall, SD to take on the Eagles in the first round of the 39th annual West River Classis Basketball Tournament. The Wolves came out flat and trailed at halftime to the Eagles, 29-10. The boys came out of halftime and executed much better in the third quarter and narrowed the gap to 41-28 entering the fourth.     On Tuesday, the Lady Wolves traveled to Hot Springs to take on the Bison. Moorcroft got off to a good start and found themselves ahead, 16-8 at the end of the first quarter. The game was back and forth in the second quarter, but found the Wolves ahead, 24-10 going into the half. It was much of the same in the second half and the Lady Wolves were able to come away with a 53-34 victory.
