    With the clarification of the ordinance for the municipal snow routes, Moorcroft Chief of Police Bill Bryant wants citizens to have a clear understanding of the changes. A few weeks ago, the town installed new signs saying that there would be no parking allowed on these routes from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. starting November 1 to April 1. This is to ensure streets are clear of vehicles allowing plows and emergency equipment passage without interruption.     The second application for funding under the CARES Act has been approved by Moorcroft’s council and subsequently submitted to the State Land and Investment Board (SLIB). According to deputy clerk Jody Clark, this new application includes $40,000 for a heart monitor to be installed in the town’s second ambulance, $23,765 for bunker gear for the fire department, $6,478 upgrading phones and $52,600 sprayer system to better disinfect large areas and other needed personal protective equipment (PPE).     The Town of Moorcroft has been approved for a $203,000 grant from the State Land and Investment Board (SLIB) under the CARES Act. These funds will be delivered into the town’s general funds account as reimbursement for wages paid to clerks and police during the pandemic.     An estimated 75 tons of yard waste was burned last week by Pine Haven’s Public Works Director Sunny Schell with the assistance of volunteer fire crew Chief Don Lancaster, TJ Gideon, Bruce Lang and Ed Scott.
