    Arlie Hulm|Sep 17, 2020

With the end of the fall golf season quickly approaching, Coach Arlie Hulm had this to say of his Wolves. “The team has been doing a good job. All three boys ended their season improving every tournament and I’m looking forward to having them back this next spring.” “KyAnna Petz has been shooting really consistently. She’s placed as high as second at our tournaments and is playing her best golf going into state this next weekend. I’m excited to see how she ends up in the state....

  • Windy weekend for golfers

    Arlie Hulm|Sep 26, 2019

All in all, it was a tough weekend for golf with very windy, chilly conditions, which makes it tough to play. We had a little of everything from highs to lows. Payton Timberman was one stroke off his personal best the first round while his teammates experienced the opposite. In the second round, Caden Connally stayed consistent and ended up splitting seventh and eighth, to receive all-state honors. The kids did a great job, they hung in there and stayed competitive. The athletes had a great time this fall and we’re looking forward to spring g...

    Arlie Hulm|Sep 19, 2019

We took three athletes with us to Glenrock on Friday and Lusk on Saturday; the weather was nice for both games, but windy. The weekend was a good lead up to state, next weekend. Caden Connally placed in the top five at Glenrock and split sixth/seventh and eighth at Lusk; Payton Timberman stayed consistent, but was just out of the placings; KyAnna Petz was just out of placing as well, but figured some things out for state. State runs through Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21 at Lusk. The kids are excited; we’ll be looking to s...

  • Golf: Connally wins again

    Arlie Hulm|Sep 12, 2019

It was a full weekend, with the first game at Upton on Saturday and the last game at Devils Tower on Monday. The golfers are doing really well and are improving their scores consistently each week. Caden Connally has stepped up his game and won the last two tournaments. He is hitting the ball really well and has made some incredible shots. Caden chipped in for an eagle on the last hole at Upton that was the shot of the tournament. Payton Timberman has been right in the thick of things, too, with a sixth place finish in Upton and fifth in...

  • Golfers hold their own as season begins

    Arlie Hulm, Golf Head Coach|Sep 5, 2019

The season is off to a good start for our golfers with the first two tournaments in Sundance and Wright. On the boys’ team, Caden Connally placed in the top ten in both tournaments. He placed fifth at Sundance and sixth at Wright. On the girls’ side, Kaylei Petz placed eighth in Sundance and was just out of the top ten at Wright. Weather conditions were perfect for Sundance, but Wright’s tournament was windy and chilly, which led to some higher scores. All of our golfers are playing solid and we are looking forward to improving our score...
