MTC and Rec Board update

By Nancy Feehan

What a busy Easter weekend at the MTC. On Good Friday, the MTC held a bake sale at Pinnacle Bank, raising $600 for exercise equipment and, later, a service and a play; then, on Saturday, the Easter bunny found his way to the MTC with some help from the Moorcroft Rec Board, chamber of commerce, WalMart and many local volunteers.

The youngsters enjoyed breakfast and pictures with said rabbit before they were off to find the eggs and children who found a golden egg received a special donated Easter basket!

The baseball sign-ups were held during Saturday’s breakfast and will be held again Thursday, April 5 at 6:30-8 p.m. at Happily Ever After Daycare at 120 South Big Horn Avenue.

The Starfish will continue its clothing sale on Saturday, 9 a.m. until noon.

If you’re interested in serving on the new MTC committee, please fill out an application by April 6. Applications can be found at town hall or online. The appointments will be made by the council on April 9.

If anyone has weight equipment, e.g. bench, barbells, weights, lateral pull down machine, cable crossover, adjustable flat bench or a Smith machine gathering dust at home, we would love a donation or a reasonable price.

The cafeteria or library are still available for your graduation parties at reasonable rates. Stop at town hall to get rates and information.
