The Starfish 2nd Hand store will be open Saturday, March 24, 9 a.m. to noon and closed March 31 for the Easter Egg Hunt. We have a sale on clothes; come find some Easter treasures.
The annual Easter Egg Hunt will start Saturday, March 31 in the MTC cafeteria with breakfast and pictures with the Easter Bunny at 9 a.m. and the egg hunt starts at 10!
Baseball signups will be at the Easter egg hunt 9 to 11 a.m., also on Thursday April 5, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Happily Ever After Daycare, 120 S Big Horn Ave.
The MTC group and anyone who would like to raise money for the MTC will have a bake sale on Good Friday, March 30, starting at 9 a.m. at Pinnacle Bank. We are raising money for exercise equipment, chairs and rectangular tables. Come and get baked goods for your Easter weekend.
Applications can be acquired at town hall or online for anyone interested in a seat on either the newly created MTC committee or the park and recreation board. If you would like to serve on either group, please complete the application by April 6. Appointments will be made by the council on April 9.
The key fobs will be available on April 2, the fob will be good for seven days a week from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m.; we’ll have memberships open for the gym and exercise equipment on the stage. The memberships will be available for an individual, couple or family. Watch for further information.
If anyone has weight equipment i.e. bench, barbells, lateral pull down machine, cable crossover, adjustable flat benches or a Smith machine gathering dust at home, we would love a donation or a reasonable price.
Upcoming events for the MTC library are as follows.
Make plans to attend the Good Friday service at the MTC library. The Interfaith church community will present the “LastLiving Last Supper” at 7 p.m., a community choir will also perform.
Saturday, April 7, Crook County Deputy Sheriff and nationally certified trainer Ed Robinson will have an ALICE training class for worshipping communities with a potluck at noon and training to follow.
These are all being brought to our community and outlying area by the Moorcroft Interfaith Committee, whose purpose is to bring our community together and to strengthen, protect and support the community. “Let’s talk to one another, not about one another.”
Cleanup at the baseball field in preparation for the season will be on April 28.
Open Gym is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:15 to 10:15 a.m. Monday night at 6:30 p.m. is basketball and Wednesday at 7 p.m. is volleyball.
The cafeteria or library would make a great location for your 2018 graduation parties; it will be nice to have your graduation pictures set up for many people to enjoy instead of attending several home parties. The rates are very reasonable so stop at town hall to get the rates and information.
The EWC GED classes are held on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. in Room 158 on the east end of the building.
