If you are interested in serving your community on one of the county’s boards for the next few years, you have until August 28 to hand in your application.
Candidates for Crook County’s School Board, Medical Services District, Museum District and Conservation District will appear on the ballot for the general election in November.
Five seats will be elected for the school district, each for a four-year term. One trustee each will represent Hulett and Moorcroft and three will be elected as at-large officers.
Two seats on the hospital board will also be up for election. The two new at-large trustees will also serve for four years.
Also taking on a four-year term will be two rural Conservation District supervisors and three museum district trustees.
To put your name forward as a candidate, contact the County Clerk’s Office before August 28.
